Meet Suga, a dedicated Graviton Fitness member who has been part of the community for about two and a half years.

A software engineer originally from India, Suga moved to Massachusetts around the same time he joined Graviton, embarking on a fitness journey that has complemented his love for outdoor activities and adventurous hobbies.

When he’s not at Graviton, Suga stays active with dragon boat racing, a team paddling sport that keeps him energized and connected. Recently, he’s also taken up climbing and enjoys hiking in the nearby area, especially in the winter. “I like winter hikes a lot because they are fun,” he shares.

Suga’s introduction to Graviton came during a “gym shopping” phase shortly after his move to Massachusetts. “I was visiting all of the gyms in the nearby area, and I casually dropped into Graviton,” he remembers. “I met Vince, he showed me around, and I liked the vibe of the place and thought, ‘Okay, let’s sign up!’” The next day, he was already doing one-on-one sessions with Vince, marking the start of his journey.

“I workout to keep myself fit,” Suga explains. His passion for outdoor activities like climbing and dragon boat racing drives his dedication to staying in shape. Graviton, he says, provides an excellent opportunity to achieve his fitness goals while supporting his active lifestyle.

Suga’s most significant accomplishment at Graviton has been losing 15-18 pounds in the last six months. “I did this by coming to the gym regularly, and I think that is my greatest achievement,” he remarks. Beyond the physical changes, his time at Graviton has instilled a deeper sense of discipline and mindfulness. “I’ve become more aware of what I do with my body and what I put into my body… I’ve become more mindful.”

Looking ahead, Suga has set an ambitious goal for 2025: to do 10 pull-ups nonstop. Confident in his progress, he adds, “I think I’m going to achieve it in six months.”

“My favorite part of being a Graviton member is the group workouts,” Suga shares. He values the social element of working out as a team, the feedback from coaches, and the inspiration from his fellow members. “The people who work out with us are a source of motivation and inspiration. I made a lot of friends, and we hang out outside of the gym too.”

With his adventurous spirit and commitment to fitness, Suga exemplifies what it means to embrace both personal growth and community. Keep up the great work, Suga!
