Alee Rogers, Member Spotlight

At Graviton, we celebrate the incredible journeys of our members, and today, we shine the spotlight on Alee Rogers—a dedicated teacher, loving mother of three, and fearless adventurer in her fitness journey.

Alee lives in Arlington, where she thrives not only as a teacher but as a super-mom. With three kids keeping her busy, she cherishes every moment spent with them. Currently, they have been on a crafting kick. "I like to do whatever crafts my seven-year-old is interested in," she says. Lately, it's been all about friendship bracelets—a shared passion even her husband joins in on. These bracelets aren't just for family; Alee plans to spread the joy by gifting them to her Graviton friends.

Alee's journey at Graviton began with a recommendation from her husband, a previous member. "After having my third child, I wanted to challenge myself physically and mentally," she reflects. Graviton soon became her sanctuary: a place where she could confront her fears and push her limits safely. "I'm middle-aged and learning to jump rope, which terrifies me," she admits. However, thanks to the dedicated Graviton training staff, she feels empowered to conquer new challenges and embrace her strength.

For Alee, Graviton is more than a gym—it's her "happy place" and a space of empowerment. She affectionately calls Box #16 her "Empowerment Corner," where she focuses on growth and strength. Here, she feels supported to take risks, grow stronger, and achieve mental clarity—a feeling she finds addictive and profoundly fulfilling.

Joining Graviton has transformed Alee's life in significant ways. "I feel less isolated and more connected," she shares gratefully. Beyond physical benefits, it's the community that has made the difference. “I feel more connected to a community of people that have a shared interest in wellness, in fitness, and in being together in a really joyful, playful, safe, and well community.”

As Alee reflects on her journey with Graviton, she contrasts her childhood experiences with her newfound joy in physical activity. "Graviton has been cathartic," she shares. “I was a kid that did not successfully engage in gym class, was never really on a team, and I am at this point in my life getting the opportunity to feel really physically capable and get excited about things that I can do with my body in a way that I’ve never experienced before.”
